With a lineup of 38 virtual reality films, South by Southwest (SXSW)’s Virtual Cinema offers a wide range of the most innovative and creative VR films to date. This year’s lineup is largely comprised of live action and documentary films which use 360 video to transport the viewer, whether it’s an intimate tour of the White House or a hypnotic visit inside Cirque du Soleil.

Luckily, you don’t need to make it to Austin, Texas for the nine-day interactive music, art, and film festival to view these films. Did you know that you can watch VR films from the Virtual Cinema program on your couch? Many are available right now for viewing on the web or on affordable headsets like Samsung Gear VR.
