Drawing in Virtual Reality
Hosted by Make+Think+Code, a technology-focused lab at the Pacific Northwest College of Art, thisworkshop on three-dimensional drawing and sculpture in virtual reality is for all levels. Learn how to use Oculus Medium, Quill, and TiltBrush.

Creating 3D Assets with Blender
In another workshop hosted by Make+Think+Code, learn to create digital assets that work in a variety of AR/VR platforms. No previous experience is necessary, but participants need to have Blender installed on their laptops.

VR for the People
Design Museum Mornings is a monthly series put on by Design Museum Portland. In October, the museum will host Shelley Midthun, Executive Director at Oregon Story Board. Midthun will talk about VR design, accessibility, and cross-disciplinary applications.

Sculpting Through CAD and Virtual Reality

Cinematic VR Challenge: Self-Love
This weekend-long AR/VR/360 content creation event is open to creators of all levels. Collaborate with strangers and friends to make five minutes worth of 360 and immersive film. In honor of Seattle Pride, this year’s theme is self-love.

Seattle Interactive 2017
Seattle Interactive spotlights disruptive ideas and emerging technologies: augmented and virtual realities are popular topics among the keynote speakers, master classes, and networking events.
